Popular American rapper Joe Budden has told his female counterpart Nicki Minaj that somebody needs to tell the Grammy Academy that Wizkid’s song titled ‘Essence’ deserves to win the ‘Song Of The Year’ category at the 2022 Grammys.
Joe Budden who made the comments during the latest episode of his podcast which featured Nicki Minaj, stated categorically that officials on the Grammy Board need to recognise Essence as the Song Of The Year at the 2022 Grammys.

The comments by the rapper who described the track as the ‘song of the summer’ was also supported by Nicki Minaj who agreed that the song by Wizkid titled ‘Essence’ featuring Tems deserves to clinch the aforementioned award category at the forthcoming Grammy Awards 2022.
