Well-known Nigerian singer Ayodeji Balogun popularly known in music circles as Wizkid has pledged to donate the lump sum of N100 million in honour of his late mum.
Wizkid who made the pledge in a post on his official Instagram page said that he would be starting with children in the Surulere area of Lagos State tonight, Monday, December 11, 2023.

The ‘Joro’ crooner also disclosed that donations will be done in the name of his late mother who passed on three months ago, August 18, 2023, to be precise.
“₦100M for the kids for Christmas! God bless us all, it starts in Surulere tonight. All in Morayo’s name, the love of my life,” his post read.
