Few days after losing out at the 2022 Grammy’s Awards, Wizkid and Tems have been nominated for the Billboard Music Awards with ‘Essence’, which featured Justin Bieber on the remix.
‘Essence,’ along with songs by Doja Cat, Silk Sonic, Given, and Justin Bieber, were nominated for Top R&B making Wizkid the first Nigerian act to have his own song nominated for the prestigious award.

The international US-based Billboard Music Awards is scheduled to take place on May 15, 2022.
