UNRULY CONDUCT: Court grants Portable bail, singer to remain in detention until… (Video)

Controversial streethop singer Habeeb Okikiola popularly known in music circles as Portable has been granted bail in court for unruly behavior which has landed him in hot soup.

The musician was granted bail on Monday by the Ifo magistrate court in Ogun state, after he was arraigned on three count charges bordering on assault and theft of musical equipment.

The presiding judge granted Portable bail of N300, 000 with two sureties in like sum. The court also ruled that two sureties must have landed properties within the vicinity of the court.

Before adjourning the case to April 26, 2023, for further hearing, the court ruled that Portable should remain at the Ilaro correctional center until he perfects the condition of his bail.

Recall that Portable was arrested on Saturday by men of the Ogun State Police Command.

His arrest was confirmed in a statement issued by the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi.

Mr Oyeyemi said that Portable was arrested for trial after refusing five invitations by the police.
