Speaking on the announcement, Bukonla Adebakin, Senior Advisor, The Future Project, said, “Every edition of the awards has highlighted the achievements of young people who have made giant strides in their fields. This year, we would be spotlighting other young people who have not only questioned the norm but have gone on to redefine it.”

“We have a spectacular list of young people nominated across different categories; from community action to fashion to music, movies amongst others. It is an honour to bring some of Africa’s trailblazers to the limelight, and we wish them all the best on their journey to the star prize,” she concluded.
