The pair of Ayodeji Balogun better known in music circles as Wizkid and his compatriot, fast-rising singer Temilade Openiyi popularly known as Tems recently received a platinum plaque for their collaboration on the smashing global hit single ‘Essence’.
The pair were both handed the platinum plaque after the popular song which also has a version featuring Canadian-American singer Justin Bieber attained 400,000+ sales in the US.

The platinum plaque was handed to Wizkid and Tem on the morning of Monday, the 4th of October, 2021immediately after the latter’s show last night in Los Angeles, United States of America.
