Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola popularly known in music circles as Portable has accused his late colleague Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, aka Mohbad of being a traitor.

The ‘Zazu’ crooner who made the claim in a post on his Instagram page said that Naira Marley had no hand in the death of Mohbad who passed away on September 12, 2023, in controversial circumstances.

According to Portable, it was Naira Marley’s opponents that killed Mohbad because he was a traitor.

“It was Naira Marley’s opponents that killed Mohbad because he was a traitor. He was chilling with Naira Marley’s opponents, that’s why they killed him. Don’t be so bad in case you want to see it tomorrow. Naira Marley is innocent; he was implicated. But God will save him because he is a helper.

‘‘The death that killed Mohbad is the death of a traitor. The music industry is casted. What I don’t want to say, I will say it now. They roped in Naira Marley and Marlian music.

‘‘When Mohbad had a problem with Marlians, he said they did not like him. Who doesn’t like him? Who doesn’t love you? Someone that built you later doesn’t love you? He left and ran to Marlians haters and enemies and started rolling with them. You should know the people I’m talking about,” he said.
