Popular Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer Chukwuka Ekweani, better known as CKay, has emerged as the most viewed African artiste on video streaming platform YouTube.
CKay has hit another major milestone on YouTube according to recent statistics provided by the global video-streaming platform which revealed that he is the most watched African artist in the space of twelve months.

According to the statistics, CKay amassed a total of 1.4 billion YouTube views in the last twelve months, thus edging other Nigerian music heavyweights like; Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, and a host of others.
The statistics also revealed that CKay is ahead of other African music acts including popular Egyptian singers; Amr Diab (936 million), Mohamed Ramadan (890 million), Hassan Shakosh (856 million), and Tamer Hosny (775 million).
