Nigerian songstress Simisola Kosoko aka Simi has taken to social media to slam a clergywoman who encouraged ladies to buy wigs and present themselves well to meet potential spouses.

Recall that a yet-to-be-identified female pastor while talking to single ladies about attracting men had earlier advised women against wearing their natural hair but suggested wigs instead and added that natural hair does not attract men.

She said; “Bible says that to have friends you must first show yourself to be friendly. You’re squeezing your face, ‘nobody is calling me’ but this is how your face is.”

The clergywoman continued: “Friday night, you’re at home, Monday, you’re at home, Tuesday you’re at home. Instead of you smiling, be shining your teeth anywhere you are. When your friends are hanging out, say, ‘I’m coming’. When your colleagues are going to one say, ‘maybe that’s where my husband will be. Let me dress up and join them’.  Show yourself to be friendly and then you will have friends.”

While reacting to the comments made by the clergywoman, Simi who seemed upset with the comments made by the cleric said that it is not encouraging to tell women that they are not enough as they are.
