Seun Kuti, scion of late Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti has taken to social media to respond after comedian AY denied ever calling his daughter a dog.
Recall that Seun Kuti had in a post on social media mocked AY weeks after his Lagos home was razed down by a raging fire.
The comedian was away with his family when his house and his belongings were razed by a fire with Seun Kuti mocking the comedian over his misfortune at the time.
Days later, Seun Kuti continued to mock AY saying in a post on social media that he went live at the time AY’s house was burning to rejoice that his ancestors have “avenged” him.

The Afrobeat musician who was happy to get back at AY said that the comedian portrayed his daughter as a dog and also used his “trials and tribulations” to make jokes.
AY has now replied to the claims made by Seun Kuti in a video posted online on Thursday morning November 2, AY saying that as someone who looked for a child for 13 years, he is not one to mock a human being, let alone a helpless child.
Seun has now replied AY in a video on social media where insisted that he was certain that the comedian was shaming him in his skit and was referring to his daughter as a “dog”.
The popular Afrobeat musician further stated in the video that AY is an evil person and told him to own it because Nigerians always forgive evil people.
