Seun Kuti, scion of late Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti has taken to social media to lament the increasing rate of poverty in the land and how its affecting the mentality of Nigerians.
The radical musician who took to Instagram to lament the current state of the nation said that the easiest way to be called a ‘good person’ in Nigeria is to be generous with money.

He further added in his post on Instagram that one could be responsible for the destruction of millions of lives, but when that person in question doles out cash, he or she would be described as a good person.
“All you have to do in Nigeria to be a good person is to do ‘giveaway’ and ‘dash money’. You could be responsible for the destruction of millions of lives, just dash them money and they will say you are a good. Poverty must go,” he wrote on IG.
