Rapper 50 Cent faces criminal battery charges for hurling microphone at a fan

Well-known American rapper Curtis Jackson popularly known in music circles as 50 Cents is now facing criminal battery charges for hurling a microphone at female fan.

Recall that the talented lyricist allegedly threw a microphone towards his crew stationed at the production area during a Fif’s concert in Los Angeles, which split the head of a victim.

The badly hit victim identified as Power 106 radio host, Bryhana Monegain was immediately sent to the hospital with a laceration on her head after the incident.

Bryhana who has now named 50 Cent aa suspect in a criminal felony battery report filed suggested that the artiste knew she was standing there as he supposedly looked at her directly prior to throwing the mic which split her head.

However, the rapper’s lawyer, Scott Leemon, spoke to TMZ and reiterated that his client did not intend to hurt any specific person when he threw the mic. “Let’s be very clear, as I told LAPD this afternoon, my client Curtis (AKA 50 Cent) would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone. Anyone saying something different doesn’t have all the facts and is misinformed,” he said.
