Moses Olafare, the Director of Media and Strategy of the palace of the Ooni of Ife has informed that his boss heard about the separation from his wife, Olori Naomi on social media.
Olafare who revealed this during an interview with Daily Trust informed that the monarch was unaware of the reason why his wife took such a decision without any quarrel or prior discussion.
He said; “Ooni of Ife was not aware of the separation. On Wednesday evening, Kabiyesi arranged Christmas gifts for the Queen and the gift was delivered. Like other people, Ooni also read about the divorce in the media and it was a rude shock.

Recall that Queen Naomi, the wife of the Ooni of Ife took to social media to confirm that her three year marriage to the first class Yoruba monarch is over.
Naomi herself confirmed the news on Instagram where she informed that she did all she could to “endure” and “smile through the struggles” but she has now decided to leave her marriage.
