Billionaire businessman Ned Nwoko has explained why his marriage to his estranged wife Laila ended.
The deep-pocket entrepreneur opened up in a statement issued by his media team while addressing a face-off between his wife, Regina Daniels and aphrodisiac seller Jaruma.
In the statement issued on Wednesday, Ned Nwoko said that his marriage to Laila ended after she underwent plastic surgery, spent money she was given for their kids’ summer holiday in London on herself and also had a physical meeting with a “strange man” who she met on the internet in a hotel in the European country.
He also stated that Laila’s defence all these while has been that “someone set her up”. Alleging that his ex-wife maltreated their children, exposed them and engaged them in an indecent behavior which “no reasonable man will tolerate as a husband”, the former lawmaker stated that the clarification became necessary because Laila has continuously played the victim while she is reportedly the aggressor.

‘‘Our initial reaction was to have completely ignored the silly insinuation. But given the pervasive nature of fake news and the tendency of mischief makers to peddle misinformation on the social media, we resolved albeit reluctantly, to clarify issues for two reasons:
