Naomi Campbell denies adopting her daughter, says she’s the best thing to happen to her

Popular supermodel Naomi Campbell has denied rumours making the rounds that her daughter was adopted  shared the first photo of her face in a new cover story for British Vogue.

Naomi Campbell used the medium to open up on how motherhood has impacted her life and brought her so much happiness while opening up about her infant daughter.

She stated that having her daughter is the best thing she has ever done.

Campbell revealed, “She wasn’t adopted—she’s my child,” adding that she kept her decision to start a family very close to the vest. “I can count on one hand the number of people who knew that I was having her. But she is the biggest blessing I could ever imagine. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done,” she said.

She went on to explain that while the announcement may have come as a shock to the public and even some of her friends, she “always knew that one day I would be a mother…it’s the biggest joy I could ever imagine. I’m lucky to have her and I know that.”

She also isn’t ruling out the possibility of having more children in the future, responding “why not?” when asked about adding more children into the mix. Having a baby has made Campbell feel like “a kid again,” she confessed. “I’m reliving nursery rhymes, playing and discovering how many great new toys there are out there in the world! And dolls! Things I couldn’t even dream of.” But the biggest surprise of motherhood, the cover girl revealed is “My daughter comes first. Everything I do, I do for her—that’s it. It’s so completely selfless, isn’t it?”
