Popular Nigerian comedian, Mr Macaroni has called out Atiku Abubakar after he deleted his Facebook and Twitter posts condemning the killing of a Christian student who was accused of blasphemy by a muslim mob in Sokoto state.

The presidential aspirant who took to his social media pages to condemn the gruesome murder allegedly deleted both posts after some Northerners took to his comment section to say that he has lost their votes for condemning the act.

Reacting, Mr Macaroni took to his Twitter handle to state that Atiku’s action shows politicians don’t care about the people but only play to the gallery to secure votes.

“Atiku deleting the tweet condemning the gruesome murder of Deborah shows what we have been preaching this whole election season. Politicians don’t care for the people. They only play to the gallery when seeking our votes. The people must see beyond these gimmicks…” He wrote.
