The real cause of the untimely death of Nigerian singer and rapper Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba popularly known as Mohbad has been made known by his wife Omowumi.
The mother of one in a post on her Instagram page revealed that Mohbad had been fighting with fears and unhappiness, and also had battles against people who tried to end his life.
According to Omowumi, nothing made him happy anymore and she also noted that he became more worrisome after the arrival of their child, being a father and a husband.
She stated that Mohbad was endlessly afraid for their safety especially after his endless battles with his label Marlian Records owned by popular singer Naira Marley.
Omowumi wrote; “Nothing makes him happy no more, even after seeing his baby he became more worried, he’s now a family man he doesn’t want anything to happen to us.

“Was supposed to collect my baby’s passport yesterday so we could process our traveling. He always talks to me. Wunmi pls go for my baby sake, l wouldn’t want this people to harm you and him it will break me. You just go, let me face them myself. Ilerioluwa rest in peace. You really need that peace.”
She also stated in unequivocal terms that the people threatening him had won, as they had all succeeded in making her a widow at the tender age of 24.
“This Nigga struggled till death, too many pains, threatening. He has always lived with fears, continuous fights everywhere he goes too, he has never been happy for a whole day. he was called a junkie, a mad person, mental issue so the public would have another view about him. He’s dead, at least you all won, take your trophy. Y’all made me a widow at 24years. Olorun idajo re daaaa.” Omowumi concluded.
