MOHBAD: Court orders auxiliary nurse, one other suspect to remain in police custody

A Lagos Magistrates’ Court in Yaba has ordered the continued detention of the auxiliary nurse who injected hip hop artiste, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, aka Mohbad moments before he died.

The court which was presided over on Monday by magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun ordered that the nurse identified as Fisayo Ogedengbe, 37, who gave Mohbad some injections that resulted in his death.

The presiding magistrate also ordered that late Mohbad’s friend, Ayobani Sadiq, who was also arrested in connection with the death of the late singer should be returned to police custody.

However, Olatunbosun the pair of Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley and social Samson Eletu alias Sammy Larry bail in the sum of N20 million.
The Magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun, who delivered the ruling this morning November 6, also ordered that the pair are to provide three responsible sureties to secure their release.

Olatubosun ordered the duo to submit their international passports as part of their bail conditions and also instructed them to make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

The Magistrate also warned that any attempt by Naira Marley and Sammy Larry to contact her would be recorded and potentially disclosed in open court proceedings.

“As part of the bail conditions, the defendants are to surrender their passports and make weekly appearances at the State Criminal Investigation Department.

“Any attempts to contact me directly would be recorded and potentially disclosed in open court proceedings,” Olatunbosun said.
