Following a fight between actress Mercy Aigbe and popular socialite, Omolara Olukotun better known as Larrit, the former has shared her side of the story saying the latter is her acquaintance and that she has patronized her business but that she does not know where the sudden hate is coming from.
Mercy also revealed that the bottle Larrit threw at her did not touch her but someone else.
Recall that a video went viral on Sunday showing the duo in the middle of a heated argument and Lara throwing a bottle at Mercy while raining abuses on her at a party in Lekki, Lagos State.

Reacting to the video in a statement released via her Instastories, Mercy alleged that Lara has been verbally attacking her online for a while and all efforts made to reach out to her to know the reason for the sudden hate proved abortive.
She added that she was an acquaintance and someone who she had patronized in the past.
Mercy narrated that Lara started it all when she saw her at the Sunday event and started to verbally assault her. Mercy said all attempts to stop her by other guests failed as Lara continued to call her unprintable names, and that she had to stand up for herself.
She said it was at this point things took a different turn. She however apologised to her family and anyone who felt she could have handled the situation differently.
