Nollywood actress and CEO of Rok TV, Mary Remmy Njoku has voiced her disappointment after a law firm refused to let her sign guarantor’s form for a family member simply because she’s female and the attendant feels she’s too young to afford rent.
Mary also revealed that the firm allowed her male colleague to sign instead even after she tried her best to convince them she’s capable of paying the rent even to the extent of googling her name as proof.

She then slammed the lawyer saying she lives in an old box and then pointed out that today, Nollywood is arguably controlled by women and they sign all the cheques.
However, the actress added that the law firm later called to apologise and wanted her to sign instead but it was ‘too late.’
