A 33-year-old man identified as David Crowe has been arrested without bail for stalking and harassing popular American singer Taylor Swift in front of her Manhattan home.

The decision to arrest David without bail was reached after he was arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court on a misdemeanor charge of second-degree criminal contempt.

According to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office, the suspect was ordered held without bail on Thursday, January 25, after he was arrested again in front of Swift’s home in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood.

Prosecutors said Crowe violated a protective order issued on Wednesday mandating he stay away from Swift, 34, and her home and refrain from any communication with her.

An NYPD spokesman said police officers responded to a 911 call of a disorderly male on Franklin Street at 1.35pm. Once the cops arrived, he left the location and walked into the first precinct where he was taken into custody.

”I just saw him digging through this dumpster, taking out some blankets and then he just went and sat down on the loading dock a few doors down [from Swift’s apartment],’’ a resident told The New York Post.
