Popular American rapper Kanye West has reportedly hired yet another lawyer in the divorce case involving his estranged ex-wife, and mother of his four kids, Kim Kardashian.
TMZ reports that Kanye West has hired Robert Stephan Cohen of Cohen Clair Lans Greifer Thorpe & Rottenstreich LLP, who represented Melinda Gates in her multi-billion dollar divorce case with Bill Gates as his sixth divorce attorney.
Further reports reveal that Kanye West is also bringing Nicholas A. Salick of Salick Family Law Group, APLC as his counsel in California, as Cohen is based in New York, and the Kim divorce case is in the city of Los Angeles.
The new development came days after Kanye West apologised to his estranged ex-wife Kim Kardashian for “any stress” that he may have caused the mother of his kids.
Recall that Kanye West took a swipe at Kardashian’s former boyfriend, comedian Pete Davidson, on several occasions when they were still dating after he (Kanye) parted ways with Kim.

In a music video for his single ‘Eazy’ Kanye West accused Kim Kardashian of restricting his access to their four children; North, nine, Saint, six, Chicago, four, and Psalm, three, seemingly buried a cartoon head of Pete Davidson.
The musician has now addressed the drama in a new interview with Good Morning America, set to air on Thursday (22 September).
In a teaser clip to promote the programme, West told host Linsey Davis: “This is the mother of my children and I apologise for any stress that I have caused, even in my frustration, because God calls me to be stronger.”
“I need this person to be less stressed and of the best, sound mind and as calm as possible to be able to raise those children,” West added.
