Popular Nigerian singer, Enetimi Odon better known as Timaya has been arrested hours after a hit and run accusation levelled against him by an Instagram user.
The ‘Cold Outside’ crooner was seen in a viral video circulating on social media being whisked away by men of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
In the viral video, Timaya was seen making gestures at the police men who accosted him as he pointed to a car parked outside his apartment.

Though, the reason for his arrest was not ascertain as at the time of filing in this report, it came after an Instagram user identified as @whyte_26 accused Timaya of hitting her sister with his car yesterday morning.
The IG user in her post claimed that Timaya nearly killed her sister in the Ikate area of Lekki in Lagos and instead of coming down from his car to plead with the victim, he instead asked for her phone number and her sister refused saying he would block her.
@whyte_26 further claimed that the singer sped off the scene of the incident instead of doing the needful as her sister was later hospitalised because she was in pains.
