Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju James, better known in movie circles as Baba Ijesha has been slammed with a 16-year jail term by an Ikeja Special Offences Court after he was found guilty by the court of s3xual assault of comedienne Princess ‘s 14-year-old Foster daughter.
The judgment was passed on Thursday July 14 by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo who convicted the troubled actor of indecent treatment of a child, s3xual assault, and attempted sexual assault in a 2-hour judgement.
The presiding judge however discharged and acquitted him of count one and count six, which were: s3xual assault by penetration and attempted s3xual assault by penetration.

Justice Taiwo, who held that the prosecution failed to prove beyond reasonable doubt that Baba Ijesha is guilty of all the charges against him, sentenced him to 16 years imprisonment.
The jail-term slammed on Baba Ijesha who pleaded not guilty to a six-count charge leveled against him is to run concurrently and so he will be spending five years in jail.
