Following the much publicised traditional wedding ceremony of Nollywood actress Rita Dominic which was staged on Tuesday, media personality, Shade Ladipo, has said that she’s excited that the contemporary society is beginning to normalize women getting married in their 40’s.
Shade in her post on social media advised women to develop themselves and secure their ‘bags’ in their 20’s and 30’s instead of just getting married at the ‘tender’ age of 25.
“I’m so glad we’re gradually normalising women getting married in their forties. Women really need to rethink the use of their 20’s and 30’.

“Ladies there’s nothing wrong with securing your bag, developing high emotional intelligence and chasing your dreams early in life. Plenty roads leads to the market.
“Not just to born, become wifey at 25 with 5 children. God made you for so much more than to procreate and be married,” she wrote on Instagram.
