Ice Cube walks out on new film production after refusing Covid-19 vaccination, forfeits $9m paycheck

American rapper cum film actor Ice Cube has walked out on new film production for the forthcoming Hollywood comedy ‘Oh Hell No’ after the movie producers asked him to get vaccinated for Covid-19.

Ice Cube has reportedly ended his contract with the producers of Sony Pictures’ forthcoming Hollywood comedy due to the rule and has thus forfeited a $9 million paycheck for his decision.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ice Cube signed the deal back in June and was set to star alongside Jack Black. Production was already confirmed to kicked off in Hawaii with Kitao Sakura as director.

While neither Ice Cube’s management nor the studio have released a statement addressing the actor’s exit, reports say he walked out on a whopping $9 million paycheck for the comedy produced by Black and Matt Tolmach.
