Popular Nigerian chef, Hilda Bassey Effiong, popularly known as Hilda Baci has informed that she auditioned for the Big Brother Naija (BBN) reality TV show on five occasions.
Hilda, who holds the Guinness World Record (GWR) for longest cooking hours made the revelation while appearing on Cool FM Nigeria’s The Big Friday Show.
She also told the show host Tacha (a BBNaija Alumni) that her intention was to take part in the reality TV show before embarking on her cooking challenge which has brought her fame.

“I actually tried to get on Big Brother [Naija] for a while. I think I auditioned about four or five times.
“The plan for the cook-a-thorn was still in the pipeline, so my goal was to go to Big Brother and then come out and do the cook-a-thorn.”
