Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, Sunny Ade, Sikiru Barrister inducted into Nigeria’s first-ever Afrobeats Hall of Fame

The trio of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, Sunny Ade, Sikiru Barrister have all been inducted into Nigeria’s first-ever Afrobeat Hall of Fame (ABHF) induction ceremony.

The music legends were inducted into Nigeria’s first-ever Afrobeats Hall of Fame at a well-attended event organised by Estilo Davida, a Nigerian hospitality firm.

The black carpet of the Afrobeats Hall of Fame (ABHF) induction ceremony was hosted by reality TV star, Uti Nwachukwu while the main event was compered by D’Banj and Samantha Walsh and the main event anchored by Bovi and Dbanj.

Graced by a constellation of superstars from the Nigerian music industry, the epoch-making ceremony witnessed the inductees divided into three different categories.

On the list of the first category were veteran musicians including; Tunde King, Onitsha Native Orchestra, E.C Arinze, Victor Olaiya, Mamman Chata and Bobby Benson.

The second category included music greats like; Chief Osita Osadebe, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Rex Lawson, Sikiru Ayinde Barrister, King Sunny Ade, Dan Maraya Jos, Peacock Guitar Band International and Bala Miller.

While the likes of 2face Idibia, Onyeka Onwenu, Femi Kuti, Daddy Showkey and a host of others while Tony Odili, Jimmy Amu, King Sunny Ade, Rex Lawson, Onyeka Onwenu, Ebenezer Obey, Chief Osita Osadebe, Fela Anikulapo Kuti will be getting special recognition for “Lifetime Achievements” in the music industry.
