Afro Soul sensation, Eleesha’s Collage of Colours Live Series could hardly have taken off on a lighter note than it did on June 2 at Pop Huas, Lekki. Eleesha, in her maiden headline concert, delivered brilliance that captivated the audience and left them yearning for more.
At about 9:00 pm the lights dimmed and the venue came alive with a lineup of solid opening acts setting the tone for a fun evening. Debby Whyte, PKD, Lino, Jkay, Brizzaviour, Sommy, and Acetune each delivered stellar performances, igniting the stage and paving the way for the main event.
Eleesha, the illustrious headliner, graced the stage amidst a grand introduction by the charismatic host MC Valentino. Backed by her Colours band, the extraordinary vocalist took the audience on an exquisite journey, performing enchanting live renditions of tracks from her debut EP. Her performance was a masterclass in soulful expression, punctuated by breathtaking covers of classic ballads that showcased the full range of her mesmerizing voice, leaving the audience in awe.

The night was full of unforgettable moments, with one of the highlights being the legendary Cobhams Asuquo taking the mic to close the show alongside Eleesha. Their powerful rendition of Bob Marley’s timeless classic, Redemption Song, resonated deep within the hearts of every listener, creating a profound and lasting impression. Another awe-inspiring moment occurred when Eleesha was joined on stage by Blingz, her model/actor co-star in Through The Wire, adding an additional touch of magic to the performance.
Among the notable guests were music legend Cobhams Asuquo, celebrity drummer Papii J, media entrepreneurs Yinka and Bola Obebe, music execs, Efe Omorogbe, Phenom and Barrister Val, ace event producers Helen Abutu and Ruth Abraham, legal consultant, Nwanne Okafor, veteran talent manager, Don T, GYC, music producer, Richie. The presence of these industry personalities further underscored the significance of the maiden edition of the Collage Of Colours Live Series.
