Popular Nigerian music producer, Michael Collins Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy, has stated his reasons for excluding Rema in the recently released Mavin All Star hit song, ‘Overdose’ which features its youngest acts, Crayon, Ayra Starr, Boy Spyce and Magixx.

Don Jazzy who is the Chief Executive Officer of Mavin Records, said that he deliberately excluded Rema from the song because he wanted fans to fully embrace the talented news signees, and having Rema on the track would have prevented that.

Speaking during an interview on Cool FM, Don Jazzy revealed that Rema’s inclusion in the song would have made all the attention to be on him considering the name he has already made for himself in the music industry.

“I try to keep the new artistes away from collaboration so they can stand out.” Don Jazzy said.
