Popular Nigerian singer, Daddy Showkey has called out Igbo people for always allowing themselves to be used against one another whenever something good is about to come their way.
This is coming hours after a faction emerged within the Labour Party in which Peter Obi was elected as presidential flag bearer ahead of the 2023 elections.
The faction led by Mr Calistus Okafor held its National Convention to elect Ambassador Jude Ezenwafor as its presidential flagbearer against the INEC-recognised Julius Abure-led faction which has since elected Peter Obi as it’s flag bearer.

Showkey who expressed his dissatisfaction at the turnout of events alleged that ‘they’ want to use the new aspirant, Jude Ezenwafor to fight Peter Obi and prevent him from emerging president.
“When we talk, people will feel like we don’t know what we are saying. I always say that Igbos Igbos…I want you people to be united this time. Look why is that anytime you have somebody credible, anything involving you people, they will use you people against yourselves,” he said.
“This one don come now, them don go use an Igbo man to fight an Igbo man. Oh, una get very long way to go. If this man that correct Igbo man, he go forget about this thing. For once you people should use your head.” He said.
