Nigeria singer, John Asiemo better known in music circles Daddy Showkey, has condemned the recent attack by bandits on the Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA) which reportedly claimed two lives.
The veteran singer who reacted to the incident during an interview with PUNCH newspaper said that the attack by the bandits on the NDA facility is a heavy disgrace to the country.
Singer further added during the interview with the newspaper that the assailants are not bandits but are mercenaries coming to take over Nigeria.
He said; “It is a shame and disgrace to Nigeria. Our pride, the Nigeria Defense Academy was attacked; you people are still calling these people bandits. These people are not bandits; they are mercenaries coming to take over Nigeria.

Recall that during the attack on the NDA facility located at Afaka, Kaduna, the bandits killing two officers and abducting one.
The gunmen wearing army uniform, invaded the facility in the early hours of Tuesday, with reports revealing that they came through a broken fence and caught the residents unawares
It was learnt that the gunmen, who headed in different parts of the premises, caught the officers on duty off guard because they were wearing military uniform.
