Self-acclaimed ‘African Giant’ Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy has opened up during an interview about his perceived competition with ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid.
The ‘Ye’ crooner who was featured in a question and answer session with American–Haitian Hip Hop disc jockey, DJ Whookid, debunked rumors of him being in a competition with his colleague Wizkid.
When asked whether he sees Wizkid as a competition especially when nominated in the same award category with him, Burna Boy said that he never sees Wizkid as a competition because they are in different lanes in life.

He said; “Nah, we’re on two very different lanes in life,y ou know? And the only similarity really, is the fact that we’re from the same place and we love each other, you get me? That’s what brings us together.
“It’s where we’re from and the love we have for each other. Other than that, we’re on two different lanes mehn. Wiz is about theb*ches, you get me? Wiz is all about the b*ches. Me? I’m about real life… and the b*ches,” Burna Boy added.
