Burna Boy reveals he tried advising late SA rapper AKA to get a gun before he was shot dead

Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu popularly known in music circles as Burna Boy has taken to social media to reveal that he once advised late South African rapper Kiernan Forbes alias AKA to get a gun before he was shot dead by unknown assailants.

The Grammy award-winning singer who made the revelation in a post on his Instagram page said that he had advised AKA to purchase a gun after the late rapper had called him ‘wild’ for owning one.

Burna Boy who shared a yet-to-be released track in which he sang about the tragic death of rapper considered to be one of the best in South Africa said the demise of AKA took him off a positive mood.

‘‘WTF is all of that about? I just heard he died, and I saw that video at that restaurant. Took me out of a positive mood/ Took me back to that day when you saw my gun and you said I was wild/ Then I told you you should have one too,’’ he wrote.

Burna Boy also noted that he hoped those who murdered AKA would be caught and made to face the law.
