Former Plantashun Boiz band member Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo popularly known by his stage name Blackface has accused his younger colleague, Asake of intellectual property theft.
Blackface leveled the allegation against his younger colleague after music director TG Omori revealed that Asake’s music video, “Joha” was shot for the sum of $165k.

Following TG Omori’s revelation, Blackface called out Asake for not acknowledging him on the song after such an amount was used to shoot the video.
According to the dancehall, ragga, reggae singer, and songwriter, no one could call the ”owner of the song” to inform him, before remixing the song.
