Former female housemate of the 2021 Big Brother Naija (BBN) reality TV show, ‘Shine Ya Eye’ edition, Maria Chike has slammed Nigerians celebrating Christmas the way foreigners do.
The reality TV star in a post on her Instagram page said that some Nigerians are ignorant by celebrating Christmas the way foreigners do without fully understanding how certain things are done.

According to her, most people forget that Santa Claus leaves the North Pole on the 24th of December and appears down people’s roofs/chimneys to drop off presents.
”Why am I seeing gift boxes and presents under y’all Christmas trees??
”Did you forget Santa leaves the North Pole on the 24th and down your roof/chimney to drop off the presents? Y’all so funny. Understand the spirit of Christmas, just don’t do it cause others are”.
