Talented Nigerian comedian Ayo Makun popularly known in entertainment circles as AY has explained why some celebrities become slaves during elections.
The humour merchant who gave his explanation in a post on his Twitter page said that most celebs become slaves to fear during election because they can be blacklisted or attacked by clueless thugs.

According to AY, the morbid fear of being attacked by clueless thugs or being blacklisted is the reason most celebrities refuse to publicly take a stand on any political candidate of their choice.
‘‘Most celebs have become slaves to fear during elections. Whenever they publicly take a stand on any political candidate of their choice, they are either BLACKLISTED or ATTACKED by clueless thugs who would do anything to secure their own interests. Stop putting them under pressure,’’ AY wrote on Twitter.
