Popular American actress Angelina Jolie has described the ongoing legal battle between her estranged husband Brad Pitt over sale of their jointly owned $28.4m winery as ‘malicious’.
The thespian Jolie has called for a sale of the enterprise they once owned as their divorce proceedings focus on the sale of their joint business- Chateau Miraval Winery.
According to RadarOnline.com, who obtained court documents, Angelina didn’t want to be in the wine business ‘when alcoholic behavior harmed our family so deeply’.

Brad Pitt had claimed they both agreed not to sell their stake in the property without approving it with each other as they were both owners.
The documents added, ‘Pitt’s allegations that he and Ms. Jolie had a secret, unwritten, unspoken contract to a consent right on the sale of their interests in the property is directly contrary to the written record and, among other legal defects, violative of the Statute of Frauds and public policy.’
