Nigeria’s first lady Aisha Buhari has debunked claims making the rounds that she is pregnant.
Recall that Aisha Buhari fueled pregnancy rumours in a recent picture where she was seen alongside her husband, President Muhamadu Buhari, which left many wondering if she is actually expecting a baby.
In a yellow lace kaftan and a black shawl draped over what appeared like a baby bump, 50-year-old Mrs Buhari tenderly placed her right hand on her tummy.

The speculation has now been denied by her media aide Sulaiman Haruna who dismissed the report.
In a chat with BBC Pidgin, Haruna denied the claims about the first lady being pregnant or sick.
“I can assure you 100 percent that our first lady is perfectly okay. She is neither sick nor pregnant as some reports claim. Some of these reports are from mischief makers who don’t mean well. You know, nowadays, people can tamper with photos,” he said.
