Popular Nigerian actress Rita Nkem Dominic has taken to social media to deny reports making the rounds of her welcoming a set of twin girls on Sunday, 3rd of September.

According to an article posted on social media platform X (previously twitter) “Rita Dominic and her publisher husband, Fidelis Anosike, both welcomed a set of twins.”
The post was met with mixed reactions with bloggers and sites responding to the claims prompting many fans and celebrities to celebrate both of them, while others were doubtful.

The actress has now refuted the report made by her fan on social media while replying a fan who remarked that every year, rumors of her being pregnant and giving birth arises.
Rita stated that people must cease lying to the public and clarify stories of her giving birth.
She wrote: “I should not have to though. People should just stop lying to the public.”
