Popular Nollywood actress Funke Akindele has deleted all politics-related posts from Instagram after her political ambition was temporarily put on hold following results from Saturday’s governorship election in Lagos State.
A quick check on the official Instagram page reveals that deputy governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the recently concluded governorship election in Lagos State has deleted all politics-related posts from her page.

Checks on her page revealed that the actress who is the running mate of Abdul-Azeez Adediran aka Jandor, has deleted posts and videos of her campaign and party activities, leaving only personal photos and those of her movie promotions.
The move by Funke Akindele is as a result of her party’s loss of the last governorship election to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
