Nigerian songstress, Temilade Openiyi popularly known in music circles as Tems has surpassed seven million monthly listeners on Spotify, thus becoming the first female African artiste to achieve feat.

The development was made known in a post on social media by Spotify which revealed that the fast-rising singer has o far notched a total of 7,016,476 monthly listeners on the streaming platform.
This came over a month after she surpassed six million monthly listeners on Spotify thus surpassing Simi, Yemi Alade and Tiwa Savage.
