Prosecutors in the ongoing s3x assault case involving troubled American singer Robert Sylvester Kelly aka R. Kelly have told a court in Brooklyn, New York, that the singer demanded sex act from 17-year-old former girlfriend in exchange for an audition.’
During court proceedings on Monday, August 23, the prosecutor says that R. Kelly allegedly abused 22 victims, but have only filed charges centered around six alleged victims.
This came after a woman told a court in Brooklyn, New York, last Friday that the singer choked her until she passed out during a six-month sexual relationship they had when she was a teenager.
Jerhonda Pace, now 28, wept as she read aloud from a journal entry describing how Kelly slapped her, saying “If I lied to him again, it’s not going to be an open hand next time.”

“He choked me during an argument” before she had sex with him, wrote the then 16-year-old Pace, who said that after having sex with Kelly for the last time she “became fed up, and I went home and confessed.”
This came days after prosecutors described the musician as “a man who used lies, manipulation, threats and physical abuse to dominate his victims and to avoid accountability for years”.
The revelation came to light as the trial of R. Kelly started at a court in Brooklyn, New York on Wednesday, August 18, as details have started pouring in over what transpired during the hearing.
