Well-known American rapper Bill Kapri popularly known in music circles as Kodak Black has been arrested in the city of Florida over alleged possession of cocaine.
The lyricist was nabbed after cocaine and marijuana were found in his vehicle on Thursday December 8, 2023, with his bail condition now being placed at $75,000.
According to jail records, the rapper was accused by Plantation police of being in possession of cocaine, tampering with evidence, and unlawfully stopping or parking his car.
According to BBC, the artiste was found sleeping in his car by a Police officer who was doing patrols and discovered Kodak’s vehicle wrongly parked on the roadway with the tail lights on.

Once awake and confronted by the officer, Kodak admitted there was weed in the SUV, but according to TMZ, the cop also noticed a Styrofoam cup that he believed contained an alcoholic beverage.
After his arrest, he was charged with “possession of cocaine, tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, probation violation and improper stopping/standing/parking of a vehicle.”
He has now paid the bail that was placed and is required to take regular drug tests.
