Popular Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has explained why he refrained from talking about his former Ghanaian girlfriend Nadia Buari during a recent interview.
Recall that thespian in a recent interview with media personality, Toke Makinwa, tried to avoid questions regarding his ex-girlfriend Nadia, replying with ‘Who is that?’.
Jim has now addressed his response during another interview where he asserted that the greatest exhibition of disrespect he would have paid on a public platform is to talk about a married woman with five or more children.
The actor who was once regarded as the ‘Bad Boy’ of Nollywood said that he chose not to answer the question because ” it would be to the detriment of the person I am with and also of the person she is with”.

He said; “The understanding of that segment is that when asked a difficult question and you refuse to answer, you sip tea. Even if alcohol was there at that point, I would take it. If I answer this question anyway, it will be a lose-lose,” he said on Star FM’s Starr Drive with Foster Agor.
“If I were to glorify these conversations and say certain things about them, it would be to the detriment of the person I am with and also of the person she is with.
“Which husband wants to hear about an ex talking sexually explicitly with the person he is with, and people do not understand that this was an act of respect?
“I did not want to offend a married woman with four children, so it was better to leave the past in the past. I must respect both my current partner and Nadia’s husband.” Jim added.
