Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has taken to social media to question the sheer confidence displayed by Marlian Records head honcho Naira Marley who has been arrested in connection with the death of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba aka Mohbad.
Tonto in a post shared on her official Instagram page on Wednesday said that Naira Marley is so confident and it makes her suspect that he has “some top political underdogs by his side.”
The mother of one opined that a top politician in protecting Naira Marley and also questioned why the ‘Soapy’ crooner still has a phone to tweet despite being in police custody.
“I ask again, who is protecting Naira Marley?” she wrote on Instagram. “In the right country, Naira should be in handcuffs and chains… rather he has a phone to tweet.”

This comes after the arrest of the musician was confirmed in a statement issued on Tuesday night by Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesman for the state police command.
According to Hundeyin, his arrest will aid ongoing investigation into the sudden death of Mohbad who passed on to the great beyond at the age of 27.
“Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley has been taken into custody for interrogation and other investigation activities.” Hundeyin’s statement read in part.
The arrest of Naira Marley also comes days after the police apprehended and interrogated Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry, who is one of the persons mentioned in connection with Mohbad’s mysterious demise.
