Bruce Willis’ wife, Emma, opens up on impact of actor’s dementia diagnosis

Emma Heming Willis, the wife of Hollywood actor Bruce Willis has opened up on the impact that the popular thespian’s dementia diagnosis has had on him and his family.

In a candid interview which she granted recently, Emma who has taken on the role of his “care partner” acknowledged the ailment’s profound effect on their entire family.

Emma, who married Bruce in 2009 and shares two daughters, Mabel (11) and Evelyn (nine), with him, expressed the difficulty in determining if Bruce is fully aware of his dementia.

The 45-year-old shared, “What I’m learning is that dementia is challenging. It not only affects the diagnosed individual but also takes a toll on the entire family.

This holds true for Bruce, myself, and our girls. When they describe it as a ‘family disease,’ it truly is.”
