Popular Nigerian gospel musician Buchi Atuonwu known by many as Buchi has debunked claims that he has passed onto the great beyond.
Buchi who reacted to the rumors in a phone interview with the News agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Enugu said that he is sound and very much alive.
The musician who also doubles as a spoken word poet pleaded with the public to disregard any claims spreading that he is dead saying the rumor is nothing but fake news.
He said; “There is no truth in this, as I am sound, spirit, soul, and body. It is unfortunate that desperation has driven many into all manner of mischief. Thank you all for your care and concern.”
