The winner of the 2022 Big Brother Naija (BBN) reality TV show, ‘Level Up’ edition, Josephine popularly known as Phyna has clarified her controversial comments about abortion.
Recall that the reality TV star found herself at the center of a media storm following a controversial statement she made during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo.
The discussion revolved around abortion, and Phyna boldly claimed during the interview that no woman has not had one or two abortions in their entire life.
However, Phyna has now clarified that her comments on abortion saying her comments weren’t made during the interview with Chude Jideonwo but actually occurred while she was still a participant in the Big Brother Naija reality TV show.

She explained that it was part of a conversation she had with her fellow housemates, and that she didn’t anticipate that it would become headline news.
Phyna stated, “When I came out of the Big Brother house, everybody wanted to chase clout with fame. Everybody wanted to do shit. When I was in the house, there was a conversation, and everyone was talking. Before I came out to that, the issue of abortion, who talked about it, only they know, right?”
She expressed surprise and frustration when she saw the news published after leaving the house emphasized that her comments were made in the context of a casual conversation within the BBN house and not as part of an official interview.
