Nigerian musician Joeboy has reacted to the opinion shared by his colleague Burna Boy who shared that 90% of Afrobeats songs lack substance and real life experiences.
Recall that Burna Boy made the remarks while speaking during a recent interview with a foreign media platform said that Afrobeats is mostly about nothing, literally nothing, as there is absolutely no substance to the genre of music.

According to Burna Boy, most Afrobeats singers sing about stuff that is not too important, they only sing about an “amazing time” even though life is not that way.
While reacting to Burna Boy’s comments on the latest episode of the Zero Conditions podcast, Joeboy said that he believes that every artiste has substance.
